My son was looking for a decent set of IPod dock speakers (for his IPod Touch)as an Xmas present. After searching many retail stores and everything Amazon had to offer, I settled on these, mainly because they appeared to be the beefiest speakers without unnecessary items such as an FM radio (the IPod has one) or an alarm clock…just speakers. My son is extremely pleased with the sound quality (and I can confirm since I can hear them throughout the house). The set up was very simple, the remote is simple and effective. Bass response is quite good for their size and, especially, the price. He hasn’t used the ITunes sync feature, so I’m unable to comment on that feature. I would recommend these to anyone who simply wants decent portable, affordable speakers for their IPod.

This item works great. I recently had a party and placed one speaker on the second floor for the guests to enjoy, and brought one into the basement for the rest of the party. The wireless connection went through two floors! Sound quality is good, not great…but I expected that since it is a smaller dock station. It works perfectly for background music at a party! I recommend buying it!

I had gotten these speakers when there was a special gold box deal (). For the price, I feel like the product is definitely worth the money. I like the rechargeable battery (cuts down on bulk compared to other speakers) and its thin profile. The flip out stand is a bit flimsy, but it works. I agree with a previous reviewer that the stand makes it a tight fit to plug in the dock/recharge/USB cable, but I’m able to put mine on without it being too tight a fit. The sound from the speakers is loud enough to hear but of tinny quality — what do you expect from cheap speakers? In any case, I’m not sure if it’s worth , but is a fair price and a decent value. Keep in mind that this is only for the 3G nano not the most current nano.

Portable Stereo Sound
The iHM20B features a built-in digital amplifier with two dynamic stereo speakers. When you’re ready to rock, just fold out the stand, swivel up the speakers, set it down, and enjoy your tunes in full stereo sound.

When not in use, fold in the stand and speakers, and keep it in your pocket. The sturdy, lightweight case keeps your iPod protected.

Headphone Jack
On the bottom left of the speaker housing, the iHM20B has a headphone jack so you can listen to your nano privately even while it’s protected in the iHM20B case. Just connect your headphones through the jack and play your nano as usual. The iHM20B speakers are disabled when the headphone jack is in use.

Internal Lithium-Ion Battery
The iHM20B has a built-in rechargeable battery to power the speakers. When the blue power light on the unit fades or goes out, it’s time to recharge the battery.

When it’s time for a charge, just connect the included USB cable to the USB port on the iHM20B and connect the other end to a powered USB port on your computer. A red light will appear while the unit charges and turn off when the unit is charged.

I recently purchased this item refurbished for , with free shipping. It is compact, comes with a nice little case that has a pocket for the AC adapter, and it looks quite attractive, not cheap. When compared to other small speaker systems, the sound is louder and higher quality than I have heard before. It does not have a booming bass, but the bass can be heard, and the mid and high tones are very good, even at full volume. It is able to generate enough sound to fill a cubicle with decent-quality music. It is extremely lightweight – I can stick it in my purse and not notice it’s there. I bought it to take to small-group meetings where I’d like to play an audio recording without dragging a boombox. It is perfect for that. I runs on two AA batteries or can be plugged in. Your MP3 player connects to it through the earphone jack, which can be threaded up through the bottom of the player so the cord is hidden. My Sansa player sits sort of awkwardly in the little shelf opening. It does not recharge your player. If I had payed the list price, I would be disappointed with this, but I paid less than 20 bucks, so it is a good value for the money.

This is a great iPod/iPhone 3G dock and speaker. It’s compact and a great design. The sound that emits from these speakers is very impressive. The only downfall is there is some interference while iPhone is no on Airplane mode. According to a few websites, the claim is that as long as the phone is on 3G there is no need to put the phone on Airplane mode, but I don’t believe this to be true.
Overall, this is a great tech toy with more than excellent sound quality. It also charges the phone while docked, which is a plus for me.
